Over ALIGN-CCUS

The ALIGN-CCUS project (Accelerating Low Carbon Industrial Growth through CCUS) is an international partnership of 34 research institutes and industrial companies united in the shared goal of transforming six European industrial regions into economically robust, low-carbon centres by 2025.

The project, which is being funded by the European ERA-NET ACT fund and matched national funding, will conduct six different but interlinked work packages of research that will support the quick and cost-effective delivery of large-scale carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) in six European industrial regions.
