Alchemic Film is a Dutch film company, founded by directors Stijn Bouma, Paul Oscar Kanter and Ibo Karatay, with the goal of producing their own films to ensure their artistic independence.

They believe in the strong tradition of auteur cinema and feel it’s important to strive to make a contribution to cinema in that spirit.

Alchemic Film’s first production, the short film Lejla (directed by Stijn Bouma) was selected for the Cannes Cinéfondation 2017. Their next film, Regained Memory (also by Bouma) was shot in early 2017 and is currently in post-production. Ibrahim Karatay’s short film Shadow of Violence is being financed.
