Over African Students Community Groningen

The ASC is a University of Groningen-sponsored student organization, founded to increase cultural awareness and solidarity between African and international students at the University.

Our goals are to cultivate friendships, celebrate multiculturalism by facilitating cultural exchange, work together towards helping our homelands, create a safe network of support, help and encouragement for new students from Africa to raise awareness about African Issues and to promote African culture and ideals within the university and city in general.

The ASC is dedicated to social and recreational activities, student representation, sports, academic and moral support of our members. Furthermore, we aim to facilitate relations between new students and already established students to make their stay in Groningen a memorable one.
