Over AeroDelft
AeroDelft is a student-led, student-owned team with one mission: to prove and promote liquid hydrogen as a sustainable alternative to conventional fuels in aviation.
Through Project Phoenix, we are pioneering hydrogen-powered aircraft by designing, manufacturing, and testing our hydrogen-electric powertrain and retrofitting it into a Sling 4 aircraft. The Full-Scale Phoenix is set to fly on gaseous hydrogen in 2026 and on liquid hydrogen in 2027.
By working alongside established industry partners, we combine pioneering research with real-world expertise to advance the future of aviation. By advancing both the technology and the conversation around hydrogen in aviation, we are helping shape a future where clean skies are within reach.
