The Applied AI Accelerator Lab, or A3 Lab for short, is a pioneering innovation hub at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG), dedicated to transforming healthcare through advancing applications of artificial intelligence. The lab focuses on AI solutions that enhance healthcare accessibility, affordability, and quality, which align with UMCG's broader strategic goals for innovation and sustainable healthcare transformation. This mission includes developing AI tools that directly support clinical workflows, reduce administrative burden, and provide actionable insights for clinical decision-making​​.
