Over a good year - NATURAL WINE

A Good Year sources wines from artisan winemakers from a region of South Moravia in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria & Germany. Our winemakers farm organically and try to increase bio-diversity in their vineyards. Wines are being made with minimal interventions in the cellar, with nothing added and nothing taken away.

Every vintage is unique and is the truest representation of terroir in a bottle. Natural wine goes well beyond the wine itself, it’s a philosophy, a love for the land and our nature.

What is natural wine? To put it simply, natural wine is made from grapes which are farmed organically or biodynamically, without using any additives in the cellar. Wines are typically unfined & unfiltered which gives them more depth and a fuller taste. Do they also taste different than conventional wines? Yes! They are alive, sometimes cloudy because of no fining and filtration, and generally have a juicier mouthfeel. They can sometimes have some unusual aromas because of the low levels of sulphites and no additives but they are also much healthier!
