Over A Cold Case Diary: Anne Frank
Who betrayed Anne Frank? Until now, it has not been clear what led to the arrest of the Frank family, the Van Pels family and Fritz Pfeffer, hiding in the annex at Prinsengracht 263 in 1944. The actual course of events resulting in this arrest is now being investigated by a cold case team of approximately 20 specialists, under the supervision of Vince Pankoke, a retired FBI agent. This team of cold case investigators, researchers and subject matter experts will attempt to solve the mystery by applying modern cold case investigative techniques that were not available or utilized in the past efforts. One of these techniques involves the use of behavioral science review (profiling) of past statements by witnesses, suspects, and the lone victim, Otto Frank.
